THINK OF LAURA

Senti tayo ulit....

Artist Lyrics: Christopher Cross
Song Lyrics: Think Of Laura
Album Lyrics: Another Page

Every once in a while I'd see her smile
And she'd turn my day around
A girl with those eyes could stare through the lies
And see what your heart was saying

CHORUS:
Think of Laura but laugh don't cry
I know she'd want it that way
When you think of Laura laugh don't cry
I know she'd want it that way

A friend of a friend, a friend till the end
That's the kind of girl she was
Taken away so young
Taken away without a warning

I know you and you're here
In everyday we live
I know her and she's here
I can feel her when I sing

Hey Laura, where are you now
Are you far away from here
I don't think so
I think you're here
Taking our tears away

CHORUS

MANDY

I remember all my life
Raining down as cold as ice
Shadows of a man
A face through a window
Crying in the night
The night goes into

Morning, just another day
Happy people pass my way
Looking in their eyes
I see a memory
I never realized
How happy you made me
Oh Mandy

Well you came and you gave without taking
But I sent you away, oh Mandy
Well you kissed me and stopped me from shaking
And I need you today, oh Mandy

I'm standing on the edge of time
I walked away when love was mine
Caught up in a world of uphill climbing
Tears are on my mind
And nothing is rhyming
Oh Mandy

Well you came and you gave without taking
But I sent you away, oh Mandy
Well you kissed me and stopped me from shaking
And I need you today, oh Mandy

Yesterday's a dream
I faced the morning
Crying on the breeze
The pain is calling
Oh Mandy

Well you came and you gave without taking
But I sent you away, oh Mandy
Well you kissed me and stopped me from shaking
And I need you today, oh Mandy

Well you came and you gave without taking
But I sent you away, oh Mandy
Well you kissed me and stopped me from shaking
And I need you

Oh, Mandy won't you listen to what I've got to say
Oh, baby don't you let me throw it all away
Oh, Mandy won't you listen to what I've got to say
And I need you today
Oh, Mandy

REVITALIZED

If there was one thing I learned from my experience in the national press con, it would be renewing my commitment to serve best the interest of students...It was a gainful experience for me...Since it was my first time to be there, I learned so much about the status of academic journalism in the country. It made me realize that I want to become a part of it every year and next time help the school achieve more in the contests...We'll, that is if the school will give me the authority to do so....(I hope!)...Another thing that I like about it is that I gained new friends and learned so much about them and from them too.

The only sad part of the conference is that...delegates from Region X became victims of the Superferry 14 accident last Friday morning. I'm just glad that they were all saved.

Anyway, during my vacation in Bulacan over the weekend, a friend of mine introduced me to this song. It made a great impact on me. 'Tis quite a sad song but has very powerful lyrics.

EVANESCENCE

"My Immortal"

I'm so tired of being here
Suppressed by all my childish fears
And if you have to leave
I wish that you would just leave
'Cause your presence still lingers here
And it won't leave me alone

These wounds won't seem to heal
This pain is just too real
There's just too much that time cannot erase

[CHORUS:]
When you cried I'd wipe away all of your tears
When you'd scream I'd fight away all of your fears
I held your hand through all of these years
But you still have
All of me

You used to captivate me
By your resonating light
Now I'm bound by the life you left behind
Your face it haunts
My once pleasant dreams
Your voice it chased away
All the sanity in me

These wounds won't seem to heal
This pain is just too real
There's just too much that time cannot erase

[Chorus]

I've tried so hard to tell myself that you're gone
But though you're still with me
I've been alone all along

[Chorus]
