HOW TO COPE WITH A BROKEN HEART

Oh well, nothing beats the pain of losing someone you have loved all your life...someone you have given so much of yourself that living without the person would mean the end of life itself!!!And what would aggravate the pain is the fact that the person left you for someone else...and you are caught off guard when it happened.

The pain is indeed unbearable...but is it fair that you let the person take away everything from you--your life...your self-worth--your love for yourself?

The answer is a big NO!

There's one thing about love that everyone must remember....WHEN YOU FALL IN LOVE, NEVER LOVE THE PERSON TOO MUCH. LEAVE SOMETHING FOR YOURSELF. AT LEAST, YOUR SELF-RESPECT. So, when the time comes that you have to go on separate ways, you won't be left "stranded"--not knowing where to go--not knowing how to start your life again--not knowing how to pick up the pieces of your broken self and put them back together again. LOVE NEVER WANTED YOU TO END UP THAT WAY!

LOVE WAS NEVER DESIGNED TO PURPOSELY HURT PEOPLE. It's just that people choose to get hurt by allowing others to take advantage of them. Love is not a morphine that makes one forget reality. Love is a bitter pill that one swallows and takes the risks of being happy or sad. LOVE IS A CHOICE. LOVE IS AN EXERCISE OF ONE'S FREE WILL.

FREE WILL is given as a gift to peole as a leeway--a chance to somehow control their lives and make it suitable to achieve the "necessities" of one's life. But, more often than not, FREE WILL caused failures to people's lives because they don't know how to make the right choices. Perhaps, it can be attributed to people's idea of what happiness is all about...perhaps, the difference in standards of knowing what it is like to be happy.

It is because of FREE WILL that we choose to be in love...it is because of FREE WILL that we choose to give others the license to hurt us...it is because of FREE WILL that we become miserable after each break up...it is because of FREE WILL that we choose to learn from our failures at love...and it is because of FREE WILL that we learn how to stand again and LOVE AGAIN and BE HURT AGAIN...it is because of FREE WILL that we choose to settle down with someone who we think fits our personality, helps us achieve our purpose in life and qualifies to our standards of happiness...it is because of FREE WILL that we may choose to live alone and set the parameters and close our hearts to others.

LOVE BEGETS LOVE.

LOVE IS NEVER A ONE-WAY STREET.

LOVE IS SYMBIOTIC.

LOVE IS NEVER SIMPLE...IT IS COMPLICATED.

LOVE IS MORE THAN JUST A FEELING...IT'S A COMMITMENT.

Whenever you fall in love...always put your best foot forward but by being true to yourself and to the person you love. Never forget to let the person know and feel that you love him--not even a single moment of each day. If after pouring out your best efforts to make the relationship work and still nothing happens, at the end of the day, you know, you have nothing to regret about...cause you know for a fact, you did your best...your very best--and you can face the truth with your head up high and with a heart unbroken. Indeed, you can only do so much. Remember, IT'S DESTINY'S CALL NOT YOURS.
